The seven month itch - Tanvier Pearl

One incredibly frustrating thing about the miscommunication trope is how realistic it often is. You can know someone like the back of your hand and still at times not know how to communicate with them.

Enter Justice and Terrence. After dealing with the heart break of infertility and pregnancy loss they find themselves across a chasm that they can’t seem to get back from. This seemingly lighthearted second chance romance does a good job of making you understand the kind of hurt that can end “true love.”

In an attempt to move on, Justice is drug to a singles retreat by her best friend Emma. What better way to finally move on from her failed marriage than to dive right into the deep end of dating. What Justice doesn’t expect to find at the singles retreat? Her soon to be ex husband and his old college flame.

The banter is hilarious and the emotions are realistic. Oh and not to mention the spice is spicing. I love that it was a dual pov because without it, there’s no way you would be team Terrence. His character is just proof that sometimes men are oblivious and just terrible at communicating their needs and feelings.
